Seminar Programme

ISSA offered you an interesting and instructive seminar programme. All the seminars were held in English except for the Dutch National Seminar on Tuesday, April 27. This seminar was held in Dutch with a simultaneous translation in English.
The sessions, along with the RAI’s Innovation Award Ceremony and Dutch National Seminar, provided valuable access to the hottest topics in the global cleaning community. Sustainability was a reoccurring topic, as well as the impact of the worldwide, economical crisis. Other topics included international regulations and standards, and how hygiene is the best weapon in the fight to protect public health.

Extra Seminar: European Tissue Symposium
A number of other presentations had been scheduled alongside the seminars provided by ISSA and Amsterdam RAI, such as the study Westminster University was commissioned to carry out by the European Tissue Symposium (ETS): The research focused on what happens to bacteria when people dry their hands in one of three ways: using a warm air dryer, a jet air dryer or paper towels.

The remarkable results of this study were presented on April 27, 28 and 29.
