ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2008 closed its door on May 9 after a succesfull 22nd edition.
Reinforcing its position as the cleaning industry’s biggest and truly international trade show, ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam presented products from 631 exhibitors from 40
countries. The show is always well attended and this year was no
exception.
There was a clear increase in the ratio of international visitors.
This year the show expanded to “new” halls. Visitors had no problems finding their
way to the other side of the venue.
On the first day, the winner of the Innovation Award was announced: UltraClean.
UltraClean is a patented no-touch towel dispenser with an internal self-laundering
system. As stated in the juryreport, the jury was truly impressed with the
imagination, inventiveness and enterprising spirit shown by the developer of Ultra
Clean.
The seminar programme organised by ISSA was very well received. Attendance went
up almost 50% compared to 2006. The national seminar organised by NVZ, OSB, SVS,
VSR, ISSA in cooperation with Amsterdam RAI accomplished all its targets. One of the
organisers goals, to give knowledge exchange and innovation a central place at the
exhibition was thereby achieved and appreciated by the visitors.
The next ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam will be held on 4,5,6,7 May 2010.
